Hi!

I am Samantha, a professional photographer who has been documenting memories for my clients for the past 17 years. I call Grey County home, but happily serve southern Ontario, Canada and also love to travel. In my images, I have a special focus on light and shadow - utilizing light to create art that evoke's emotion and nostalgia. I've been told my photos document the beauty of how a memory authentically felt, and that means the world to me.

I offer photojournalistic, lifestyle portraiture for individuals, families, events, companies, and organizations. Working with businesses to help them thrive in their field with standout, beautiful imagery is a passion of mine. I have a vast background in wedding photography, having shot over 100 weddings and am delighted to take on a limited number of weddings each season to best serve my amazing clients. Formerly a student of Georgian College's photography program, I went on to teach entrepreneurship in the same program at the age of 27 and continued teaching photographic self-promotion remotely during the pandemic. I am so grateful for all that I learned alongside my students about how to lovingly serve our clients with excellence. Professional business practices and doing my absolute best for my clients is the top tier priority for what I do. 

I am grateful to have many years of experience, features/publications, mentors, and return clients who make this work such a thrill and adventure for me. Some of my proudest moments have been seeing my work featured by Martha Stewart Weddings, Globe and Mail, Wedluxe Magazine, Walmart, and Home Hardware. I have photographed our Ontario Premier and a former Prime Minister of Canada. Still, the biggest highlights of my career are my return clients who entrust their beautiful, intimate memories with me year after year.  

As an artist and community-focused human, I believe that love is love and work joyfully with individuals, couples and families who are members of the 2SLGBTQ+ communities. I also am understanding of all relationship dynamics and the various ways families are created and treasured. I strive to create a safe environment for anyone to feel accepted, valued, and celebrated.
